Mommy Kangaroo and Baby

Hello world, I can't believe it! More than a year since my last post!! well I'm back and I hope to post at least images of my work more often, this is one of my latest patterns, Mommy Kangaroo and baby that you can find as a digital download from my Etsy Shop in PDF Format, that you can print and cut and start creating, yay!

Mommy is 5.5" tall and baby is super tiny only 1.5" tall so he can jump into mommy's pouch ♥ isn't that adorable ♥

Princess Snow White

Hello everyone! I'm trying to update the blog with the patterns I have made in the past months, so Snow White has been in my Etsy Shop for a couple of months now.

She measures 7.5" approx. and she is a completely hand-sewn and hand embroidery felt plush. The pattern includes pieces to make the doll, her removable skirt, the basket and the little red apples.

Snow White is very fond of little animals, so now she nestle this little two in her skirt, they started to bring flowers and leaves to form a comfy home, so it is probably soon there will be more than two. 

These apples are the "good" ones, I made sure the evil queen didn't cast any magic spell on them!!

Hello everyone! I just listed my most recent pattern on Etsy, this time a Jungle series, which includes a Lion, zebra and hippo, you can buy them separately or as a set. They would be perfect as nursery decorations or a in a baby mobile. They measure 6" approx.

Hello there!! I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year  🎆🎇🎉🎈

This is my little fox, I'm working in its pattern this week, soon you will find him in my Etsy Shop, he and some other woodland friends, so stay tuned!! 

I also want to share a picture of my beautiful Chisa 💕 The best Christmas gift I ever got, she is an Azone Pure Neemo doll and she came all the way from Japan, I'm just in love with her, her hair is so soft and her clothes very well made, I'm hoping to get her a sister or a friend soon, they are adorable!! 

I'm trying to write a little more in here since it is one of my new year's resolutions, I hope I can keep writing even if it is only a few lines!

Sylvanian Families Mini Series

Welcome to my Sylvanian Families mini house! I got this gift from my sweet husband on Mother's day this year, it came all the way from Japan!!! I was planning on taking the pictures and uploading them in May, but things around here have been very busy lately,  my nephew was born in July, he's so cute!! and I have been taking time to visit him and help my sister to bath him :)

Tutorial: Panda Bag

 

¿A quien no le gustan los pandas? Son de mis animales favoritos, por eso cuando alguien me  propuso hacer una bolsa con un panda, no me pude negar. Decidí tomarle fotos a los pasos mientras la hacía para poder compartirla con ustedes, espero que como a mi les guste tanto que no puedan evitar hacer una. 

Who doesn't like pandas?  They are one of my favorite animals, that's why when someone asked me to make a bag with a panda, I was not able to say not.  I decided to take pics to the steps while I was making it to share it with you, I hope that you like it so much that you can't avoid making one. 

Little Easter Kid / Pequeño niño de Pascua

For Easter this year I designed this sweet "Little Kid" dressed up like a bunny, isn't he sweet? And the pattern includes instructions to make his "Easter Egg BackPack" where he can put candies or other Easter gifts!

Para Pascua este año diseñé un dulce "Little Kid" vestido de conejo, acaso no es dulce? Y el patrón incluye instrucciones para hacer su "Mochila Huevo de Pascuas" donde se puede guardar dulces u otros regalos de Pascua!

Spring Fairy / Hada de la Primavera

After two and a half months of designing and re-designing, trying and failing, hoping and wishing that she finally come out the way I wanted her, she is ready and I couldn't be happier with the result, she is amazingly cute! I know I probably look at her the way a mother look at her kids, with eyes full of love, but to me she is perfect, even the first one I made, the "prototype" one, is very cute and special to me, but to be honest, I wasn't really happy with her until I added the braid and the pigtails, very important elements to give her that extra special look.  

Después de dos meses y medio de diseñar y re-diseñar, probar y fallar, esperar y desear que por fin quedara como quería, está lista y no podría estar más feliz con el resultado, ella es increíblemente linda! Sé que probablemente la miro como una madre mira a sus hijos, con los ojos llenos de amor, pero para mí ella es perfecta, incluso la primera que hice, el "prototipo", es muy linda y especial para mí, pero para ser honesta, no estaba muy feliz con ella hasta que le añadí la trenza y las coletas, elementos muy importantes para darle ese look extra especial.

Rilakkuma Envelope

Quería postear esto ayer, pero con tanta celebración me fue imposible, pero aun así espero hayan pasado un Feliz San Valentín! Para celebrarlo quiero compartir con ustedes este pequeño tutorial para hacer un sobre de Rilakkuma. 

I wanted to post this yesterday, but with so many celebrations it was not possible, but anyway I hope you had a Happy Valentine's day! To celebrate it I want to share with you all a little tutorial to make a Rilakkuma Envelope.

Xmas Little Snowboy

Además de los quehaceres propios de cada día, en este mes debemos hacer tiempo para ocuparnos de las tareas extras que llegan con la Navidad, compras navideñas, empacar regalos, vigilar que los gatos no maten el árbol, solo por mencionar algunas, pareciera que no solo los días tienen menos luz natural si no que además tienen menos horas!  

Tenía planeado hacer una colección de "3 niños navideños" pero apenas terminé el patrón del segundo, este pequeñin vestido de hombre de nieve, ahora me toca decidir si publicar un patrón navideño en Enero! Porque con tantas cosas no creo que pueda tenerlo listo antes de Navidad.

Pueden encontrar el patrón de mi niño de nieve en mi Tienda Etsy o en mi Tienda Craftsy. Espero muy pronto tener listo el siguiente (Con un poco de suerte quizás antes del 2,016)! 

Actualizado: Se me había olvidado mencionar que el 2 de Diciembre mi Tienda en Etsy cumplió su primer añito!!! Muchas gracias a todos por su apoyo, sin ustedes esto no sería posible!! 

Actualizando el blog

Por fin me he dado a la tarea de actualizar el blog y no he de moverme de aquí hasta haber terminado, aunque me muera de ganas por ir a coser al pequeñin vestido de hombre de las nieves en quien estoy trabajando.  Recuerdo haber dicho que iba a tratar de actualizar más seguido el blog y heme aquí tres meses después de mi última entrada, que vergüenza! Pero bueno hay que poner manos a la obra y mejor tarde que nunca. 

Para empezar tenemos a Toffee y Brownie. Tenía ganas de coser unos pasteleros y unos cupcakes pequeñitos y sin pensarlo mucho me decidí a hacer una pareja de perritos muy tiernos y dulces como las cosas ricas que hornean, fue una excelente idea porque hasta cupcakes halloweeneros tuvimos este año!  Estoy segura que tendremos unos cupcakes navideños también!!!

Por acá tenemos a una familia muy feliz, hecha de nieve mágica que aunque estemos en verano no se derrite, les encanta cantar villancicos y jugar a las escondidas, papá hombre de nieve les lee todas las noches a los bebes antes de ir a dormir, ahora están leyendo “Volvámonos invisibles” de la serie de "Escalofríos", por cierto, a ellos al igual que a mí nos encantó la película de Escalofríos! Y es verdad que su época es más la Navideña, pero es que son un poco tipo Jack Skellington y les gusta conocer otras fiestas. 

Y hace apenas unos días llego a mi casita esta pequeña niña reno, le encanta sacar los adornos del árbol de sus cajas y probar las luces todo el día mientras repite los nombres de los 9 renos del trineo de Santa en inglés y en español, está muy ansiosa porque pongamos ya el árbol para decorarlo a su gusto!
